Imphal, July 23 2014: Konsam Sarika d/o of Konsam Shyam Singh and Konsam Ongbi Swasnalata Dvi of Kakwa Ningomthong Sairom Leirak, Pheijaleitong Awang has been selected as the Genetics & Plant Breeding Scientist in the ARS Exam 2013 conducted by Agricultural Scientist Recruitment Board, New Delhi.

Students' Welfare Committee, Thongju Pheijaleitong has expressed happiness over her selection and congratulated her.

It may noted here that Sarika, who is currently doing research in Genetics at Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI), New Delhi, clinched All India 2nd Rank position in ICAR-AIEEA/PG Exam and had completed her MSc (Genetics) from IARI New Delhi after getting ICAR � Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) .
