Retail, MSME outreach prog conducted

Bank of Maharashtra organised an outreach programme on retail and MSME on December 15 at Guwahati.
Retail and MSME customers were sanctioned around Rs 52 crore during the outreach programme attended by Bank's executive director AB Bijaykumar, general manager (corporate credit) Sanjay Rudra and general manager Dilip Kumar Roulou.
Regarding the programme, Bijaykumar said that five new branches of the bank will be opened in the North East during the current financial year as part of expanding the coverage of the bank.
A zonal office will also be opened in Guwahati to look after the bank's branches in the region and for convenience of customers, he said, adding that the bank is targeting to increase the current business of Rs 1400 crore to Rs 4200 crore in the region with the opening of the zonal office.
