DLSA Thoubal organises "Online capacity building programme"

Thoubal, June 16 2021: District Legal Services Authority, Thoubal under the supervision of Manipur State Legal Services Authority, Lamphelpat, Imphal organised a one day "Online capacity building programme" for Para Legal Volunteers through Jitsi Meet video conferencing today.

The programme began with a welcome address by Chief Judicial Magistrate/Secretary, District Legal.

Services Authority, Thoubal while Binny Ngagom, District & Sessions Judge/Chairman District Legal Services Authority, Thoubal delivered a lecture on capacity building.

Resource person, Md Zakir Hussain, Advocate, Member DLSA, Thoubal also spoke on "Interventive steps to be taken by Para Legal Volunteers (PLVs) in the event of apprehension of child in conflict with Law (CCL)" while Sharda Yengkhom, Judicial Magistrate First Class, Thoubal gave the vote of thanks.

The programme was participated by the coordinators of Legal Aid Clinics and PLVs under District Legal Services Authority, Thoubal.
