Imphal, October 13 2015: Teachers, students and faculty members of Department of English, Manipur University condoled the sudden and untimely demise of David Davei L, son of Veikhai Lao of Koide village, Senapati District, a 1st semester student of the department.

In statement, Head of Department (English) Professor M Mani Meitei said a condolence meeting was held on Tuesday at the Lecture Hall of the Department and express deep sorrow and extended condolences to the bereaved family members.

A two-minute silent prayer was held to pay on respect to the departed soul.
