Imphal, June 13 2022: Body of a man was found lying on the roadside of Imphal-Moreh road at Sora Lousi Pat area under Kakching police station early Monday morning.

The victim was later identified as that of one Warepam Premjit (26) oh of Abhiram of Khongjom Papal, Thoubal district.

According to a police report, Premjit could have been hit by speeding vehicle but exact cause of his death could not be immediately ascertained.

A case has been registered at Kakching PS and Premjit's corpse deposited at JNIMS morgue for port mortem, the report added.
