Aid extended to snake bite victim

Imphal, August 11 2022:
Loktak Battalion of IGAR (South) on Wednesday extended life-saving medical assistance to one Oinam Irabot Singh (53) of Chandpur Maning Leikai under Moirang sub-division in Bishnupur district, who was bitten by a venomous snake.
According to PRO IGAR (S), Irabot was rushed by the villagers to the Sendra Company Operating Base of Assam Rifles with symptoms of mild fever, vomiting and headache since the time of bite.
The Assam Rifles medical team immediately rendered life-saving medical care and stabilised his condition.
He was later referred to District hospital for further management.
