Imphal, November 04 2015: The 20 Assam Rifles of 26 Sector AR under the aegis of HQ IGAR (South) provided purified drinking water to St Joseph's High School Panchai, Chandel district on Wednesday.

In a statement, PRO HQ IGAR (S) said that the students were facing problems due to lack of drinking water facilities.

Meanwhile, 24 Assam Rifles of 26 Sector AR organised a lecture on Drug and Alcohol abuse at Sita Village on Wednesday.

Over 35 villagers including women were participated in the programme.

The villagers were given awareness on the negative impact of Drug and Alcohol abuse.
