Imphal, August 04 2015: Hundreds of women and men came out on the streets Tuesday night to demand implementation of the Inner Line Permit in Manipur.

The Dingku and the RIMS roads were blocked with burning of tyres.

Nobody was allowed to pass.

Doctors and paramedics on night duty and patients requiring emergency services faced problems.

At Nongmeibung, over 3,000 women took out a torchlight rally.

Water pipes were dumped in the highway at Naorem Leikai to block vehicular movements.

However, for a different reason, there was a huge congregation at public ground in Senapati district Headquarters on Tuesday night.

The gathering was organised by the Naga People's Organisation to celebrate the signing of the Naga peace accord in Delhi on Monday.

Candles were lit during the function.
