Imphal, March 03 2017: Imphal West district police apprehended a cadre of the proscribed KNF (P) along with a pistol from Leilon Vaiphei under Saikul Sub-Division today at around 11.50 am.

Sources identified the arrested cadre as Paothang Khongsai (42) s/o Paosei of Mongjang village, Kangpokpi district.

A pistol with one live round was found from his possession.

The cadre along with the seized pistol has been handed over to Sekmai police station, added the sources.
