JNMDA observes International Dance Day

Imphal, April 29 2015 : International Dance Day was held on Wednesday at the academy auditorium of Jawaharlal Nehru Manipur Dance Academy (JNMDA).

Manipur State Commission for Woman & Writer's former Chairperson, Dr Ch Jamini and JNMDA's former Pradhan Guru, S Thanil graced the celebration as chief guest and president respectively.

Dr Ch Jamini in her speech highlighted the holiness of the Art of dance and said that it is free from all caste, religion, materialistic status, politics, etc.

S Thanil in his presidential speech spoke about Manipuri dance.
