Imphal, August 26 2015: Leaders of All India Trade Union Congress-Manipur State Committee on Wednesday discussed with the leaders and members of All Manipur Road Transport Drivers and Motors Workers Union, All Manipur Shops Establishment Employees Association, All Manipur Construction Workers Welfare Union, All Manipur Asha Workers Union on the Labour Laws reformation of the NDA Government at the Centre which can violate the rights of the working class.

The organisations resolved to cease work on September 2 and stage a mass sit-in protest as a part of the Central Trade Union's General Strike which will be launched on this day across India.

The organisations will protest on the day against the Government's decision to reform the Labour Laws and to demand protection to the rights of the workers.
