AR interacts ex-servicemen, assures possible assistance

Imphal, August 24 2015: With a view to ensure the well being of ex-servicemen and to address their grievances, Brigadier Rajesh Kumar, DIG 28 Sector Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (S) interacted with ex-servicemen of the area at 22 AR HQ in Kakching on Monday.

A total of 230 ex-servicemen including their family members and forty women, including 24 War Widows, attended the event.

The Commander appreciated the ex-servicemen for their valuable contributions to the country and provided them a forum to highlight the facilities which are entitled to them.

The Commander also enquired about their being.

The ex-servicemen shared their cherished memories of the services with the Commander and assured him a positive response and active participation in future endeavors.

Concerns for Veer Naris were also noted for suitable and prompt course of action.

The Commander assured them of all possible assistance to address their grievances and exhorted them to continue to strive in serving the nation in the present status also.
