Imphal, July 22 2016 : Tangkhul Literature Society (TLS) today felici- tated the Tangkhul subject toppers of HSLC and HSSLC exams 2016 at Awontang community hall, reports Mungchan Zimik.

TLS president Paul Kasar said that TLS is putting best effort to improve Tangkhul dialect.

Tangkhul language book for degree level/graduate would also be introduced from the next academic session onwards.

Frequent shifting of language subject af- ter passing class-X to alternative English should not be encouraged.

We have to up- hold our regional language because dialect is an important aspect of a culture., he added.
