Imphal, October 12 2015: A team of District Police Commando, Imphal West conducted cordon and counter insurgency operation on October 10 at Khurai Lamlong Sajor Thoidingjam Leikai and nabbed one active over ground worker of CORCOM.

The apprehendee was identified as one Ahanthem Dakeshwor Singh (49), son of late A Gourachandra Singh of Khurai Sajor Thoidingjam Leikai, said a statement from PRO Police Department, RK Tutusana.

Investigation revealed that he had collected huge amount of money from Imphal-Moreh transporter association in the name of CorCoM and handed over a sum of Rs 1,60,000 recently to the outfit.

A case has been registered at Porompat Police Station and investigation is going on.
