Imphal, October 07 2015: Expressing serious concern over the reported dengue cases in the State, the Meitei Nationalist Party (MNP) has demanded a Dengue Budget to be allocated for matters related to Dengue in the annual budget of Manipur from Manipur Government.

If the State Government had already allocated such budget, then how much of it has been spent so far in tackling dengue in Manipur, a statement issued by the MNP asked.

Asserting that it stands for a scientific oriented healthy society where technology and economy are brought together to bring a healthy Manipur, India and the world, the MNP also called for community based eco-bio-social approach to tackle Dengue in Manipur besides the support from both the State and Central Governments.
