Imphal, April 07 2015 : Imphal West Zilla Parishad in association with Organising Committee, Mayanglangjing ZPTC held a one-day awareness camp on 'women empowerment for girl students of school/colleges' at Mayanglangjing Taning community hall today.

The awareness camp was sponsored by the Department of Social Welfare, Government of Manipur.

I/W Zilla Parishad Adhyaksha Y Dashumati Devi, Mayanglangjing ZP member K Sunita, Khurkhul ZP member Kh Randhoni, Mayanglanging GP pradhan Kh Sanaton Singh and Lairenkabi Kadangband GP pradhan N Bobi Singh graced the event as chief guest, president and guest of honour respectively.

State Project Manager, RD & PR, Sh Sima Devi attended as the chairperson of the technical session.
