Imphal, July 30 2015: Manipur People's Party Youth Front expressed concern over the closure of schools in the State for a long period of time and stated that if the situation in Manipur does not improve and the schools remain closed, the student community will ultimately bear the brunt.

The youth front said that the timing for registration for class nine and class eleven students under CBSE board falls around this time and since the schools are shut down due to public movement on implementation of an inner line permit system in the State, the students might miss out the process.

The youth front also stated that last year around 1500 students of CBSE board could not appear the exam as their admit cards did not arrive due to untimely registration.
