Imphal, February 28 2016: Prizes for the State level Major Chongtha Mia memorial spot painting competition have been distributed at a func- tion held at Lamyanba Shanglen today.

In all 85 students from 40 different schools took part in the competition.

Rs 10,000, Rs 5000 and Rs 3000 with certificates were awarded to first, second and third prize winners respectively.

Although, the competition was conducted for the students reading in Class VI to XI, students of Class X could not take part in the competition as they are preparing for Board exami- nation.

Editors' Guild Manipur president A Mobi, LMS Law College former Principal Padmashree RK Jhalajit and LMS Law College Senior Lecturer Dr Chongtham Narendra at- tended the function as chief guest, president and guest of honour respectively.
