Imphal, October 26 2012:
All Manipur Govt.Graduate -Teachers' Association (AMGOGTA) has lamented over the alleged failure of the State government appoint regular head masters in government
schools.
In a press hand out, the Association pointed out that in conducting class II - DPC for Graduate teachers under the Education(S), the Government has left out the High schools and junior high schools in the nine districts without any regular headmasters for the last 10 years.
The statement said due to absence of regular head masters in these schools, academic curriculum has been seriously affected in each academic session.
The main reason for degrading govt.schools is appointment of in-charge or look after head from time to time.
The Association further informed that a three-page memorandum for conduct of the class II -DPC for graduate teachers to ensure justice to teaching community has been submitted to the Principal Secretary of Education (S) and Director of Education (S) on October 25 this year.
