Imphal, July 25 2014 : Asserting that 90 days validity for the NIT PMGSY Phase VIII and IX which were uploaded on October 22 and 23, 2014 has completed, the All Tribal Contractors' Association Manipur appealed the State Government to cancel the whole tendered items for Hill District of Manipur.

According to statement issued by the Association, 270 days has been completed since the notification of the PMGSY Phase VIII and IX with enhanced rate as abnormal.

The statement further stated that there is no valid ground to accept the tendered items of work and work issue orders in any case by any of the competent authority across the country.

Therefore, the Association appealed the State Government to cancel the PMGSY Phase VIII and IX without further notice and issue a fresh NIT with current National Scheduled rate as per the law of the land in order to avoid litigation.
