ZLR bodies set deadline for installing ADC

Tamenglong, August 19 2015: Zeliangrong bodies on Wednesday submitted an ultimatum to the Governor of Manipur demanding to install the Government of Autonomous District Council, Tamenglong by August 21 .

The ultimatum was jointly signed by Committee for Formation of ADC Tamenglong Convener, SP Athui; Co-convener Lungthaorei Kamei and Secretary Gangonglung Panmei.

The ultimatum said if the Government failed to form the Councils, the bodies will launch various forms of agitation including blocking of government offices, banning of all national project works within the jurisdiction of Tamenglong District.
