Imphal, February 15 2016: The Lainingthou Club (LC), Khangabok Part-II has ap- pealed to the concerned authority to repair the water supply scheme, Khangabok phase-III constructed under PHED as it has started develop- ing cracks and has been lying obsolete for years. It may be recalled that the water supply scheme was in- augurated on February 15, 2009 by the then Minister of PHE, LPR & Tourism TN Haokip and O Landhoni Devi, MLA of Khangabok A/ C and after supplying water on the said day only, it has ceased to exist.

It has urged the Government to send the concerned authority to look into the matter at the earliest and rectify the grievances of the people, according to a press release issued by the president of LC .
