Imphal, July 14 2015 : A lecture programme was conducted by 11 Assam Rifles of 26 Sector Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (South) at Hill Tribal Council Conference Hall, Moreh on July 11. In a statement issued by PRO HQ IGAR (S) said the Career Guidance cum Facilitation Programme was attended by a total of 84 students from Schools and Colleges located near the Moreh Town.

The programme was organized by 11 Assam Rifles with the assistance from Kuki Students Organisation, Moreh.

This association between student organization and Assam Rifles was made to bring out the various possibilities available to the unemployed graduates of the remote border town.

Meanwhile 24 Assam Rifles of 26 Sector Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (South) conducted an interaction with Women Society at Kwatha Village of Chandel district on Monday.

The programme was attended by 26 local women including few elders of Kwatha Village.

The President of Women Society along with members of the society projected points for the welfare of the women of Kwatha Village.
