JAC to resume bandh from today

Imphal, March 11 2015: Joint Action Committee (JAC) of Moirang, Bishnupur District will resume the suspended bandh between Moirang and Churachandpur from Thursday.

The JAC has been protesting against the what it called "illegal intrusion of land" by a tribal group at 'Tera Khongsangbi Tharoirok Laukon' .

The bandh will be launched from March 12, 6 a.m.said a press release by the JAC&IMF convenor, Ch Birendra.

JAC further appealed the public to support the bandh.
