Jiribam, August 10, 2014: A short story book entitled 'Kintharaklaba Sambaland' written by Moirangthem Seityabati Devi was released at the hall of Khaidem Academy at Lakhipur Khuman in Cachar district of Assam today.

The book has been published by Khaidem Publication Board, Lakhipur Khuman.

During the function, Khaidem Kanta, Chairman of Khaidem Publication Board and Thokchom Krishnamohan singh, Retd.Asst.

Inspector of Schools attended as President and Chief Guest respectively.

A poem recitation programme for women poets was held as part of the book release function, which was also attended by S.Tonubabu Singh, President of Short Story Society, India; K.Babaton Singh, Retd.Head Master; Loukham Atol, President of Naharol Khorirol Sillup, Lakhipur, Assam and P.Rajbehari Singh, Lect.

Nehru College.

Altogether 17 women poets coming from different parts of Cachar district read out their poems.
