Teenage girl, housewife found dead hanging

Imphal, July 10 2014: A teenage girl was found dead hanging inside the toilet of a rented house near CRPF camp at Langjing under Patsoi Police Station around 5 pm on July 8 .

The deceased has been identified as Usham Bidya (14) d/o (L) U Inao of Khurkhul but presently staying at the rented house.

The post mortem of the body was conducted at RIMS mortuary today and later handed it over to her family.

On the other hand, a housewife was also found dead hanging from the verandah of her residence at Bijang village in Churachandpur district on July 8 at around 7 pm.

The identity of the deceased housewife could not be ascertained till the filing of this report.

Police have deposited the dead body at Churachandpur District Hospital for post mortem.
