Imphal, August 07 2015 : Landline telephone service in Ayanpalli, Thambalkhong, Khergao, Naharup, Kwakeithel (Thok chom Leikai, Moirangpural, Laishram Leikai), Haobam Marak, Irom Leikai, Lourem bam Leikai, Chingtham Leikai and Heirangoithong West area will remain non-functional as the telephone pillars installed at Thambalkhong and Ngana pithong were set on fire by some unknown persons during the pro-ILP stir on August 5 .

Restoration of the pillars will take atleast 3-4 weeks.

Therefore, all customer concerned are requested to bear with the inconvenience, informed a statement issued by the SDE(South), BSNL, Imphal.
