Drivers' Welfare Association appreciates HM

Imphal, July 05 2015 : Manipur Drivers' Welfare Association appreciated Home Minister Gaikhangam for reducing the number of entry gates in the National Highways along Imphal � Jiri road and Imphal Dimapur road.

However the association had condemned the act of police for extorting money from the vehicles coming from Mao.

Following tussle in Nagaland, people from Mao cannot go and do business in that State and some of them have been coming to Imphal to dispose of the vegetables.

There is already a demand that these small traders should not be harassed by police.
