RPF/PLA woman cadre nabbed

Imphal, July 05 2014 : A team of CDO/IE along with women police arrested an active woman member of RPF/PLA namely Sanasam (N) Laishram (O) Ingelei Devi (32) w/o L Sunil Singh alias Inaocha of Kiyamgei Mamang Leikai from Singjamei Bazar (eastern side of traffic island) on July 2 and seized one mobile phone along with one Airtel SIM card from her possession, said a press release issued by PRO, Police Department.

Investigation revealed that she is working under her husband L Sunil Singh who is active member of RPF/PLA.

It is also revealed that she came to Singjamei Bazar to collect extortion money from an unknown person on the advice of her husband.

A case has been registered at Singjamei Police Station and investigation is going on.
