RIMS nurses to go on mass casual leave

Imphal, October 04 2015: The RIMS Nurses Association, Lamphelpat has announced that all nurses of the hospital will go on a three-day mass casual leave from October 5 to 7 to protest against the non-fulfillment of its charter of demands.

A statement said that nurses of the hospital have launched many forms of strikes since 2014 demanding the RIMS authority to fulfill the charter of demands.

But the demands have been neglected by the hospital authority till now, it said.

The association appealed to the public particularly patients to bear with the inconveniences and threatened to launch a cease work strike if the authorities continue to neglect the demands even after the mass casual leave.
