Imphal, January 03 2014 : One person has been arrested by police in connection with the murder of Oinam Sharif alias Muba of Oinam Sawombung, who was found dead near Imphal Barrage, on December 28 last.

The arrested person has been identified as Oinam Tenden (41), s/o Ibotombi of Oinam Sawombung Dam Awang Leikai.

He is said to be an uncle of the murdered boy.

Police sources said that Tenden was arrested from near a mosque for questioning.

No murder suspect has been identified or arrested so far.
