Advocacy seminar held at Leimakhong

Kangpokpi, July 30 2015: A one-day Advocacy seminar on the rights of persons with disability has been organized on Thursday at Leimakhong Bazar Town Hall in Sadar Hills.

Supported by Light for the World, the advocacy seminar was jointly organized by Manipur North Economic Development Association (MANEDA) and All Disabled Union Sadar Hills (ADUSH) .

Church leaders, village chiefs and persons with disability from Leimakhong area took part in the seminar where Mangboi Singsit from MANEDA and Ahen Chongloi, President ADUSH attended as resource persons.

Mangboi Singsit spoke on Disability Acts and National Trust Acts while Ahen Chongloi talked on disabled people's organizations, their duties and function in the seminar.
