Imphal, July 30 2013: General Secretary of Imphal Municipal Council (IMC) Elected Ward Development Committee Members' Forum Haorongbam Santosh has said that the ward members have not been informed about the monetary demand made to Ward Development Committee of Imphal Municipal Council.

Addressing media persons at Uripok Sorbon Thingel here today, General Secretary Santosh said that the Councillors held a sit-in-protest against monetary demand at IMC Gate yesterday without informing the ward members.

There is lack of coordination between the Councillors and members and this has been a hindrance in effective functioning of Imphal Municipal Council, he noted.

Meanwhile, a meeting of WDC of Ward No.24 has been convened at Old Lambulane at 9 am on Sunday next.
