Imphal, February 28 2016: A mass vaccination of cattle was conducted yesterday at Yumnam Khunou Awang Leikai, Yumnam Khunou Makha Leikai and Sinam village, Khundrakpam A/C, Imphal East.

The programme was jointly organised by a veterinary team of disease investigation laboratory of the Directorate of Vet- erinary and Animal Husbandry and Tangkham Farmers Association (TFA).

A total of 228 cattles were vaccinated against Black Quarter (BQ) and Haemorrhagic septicemia (HS) diseases, a press release issued by the secretary of TFA said.
