Farmers' cadre camp inaugurated

Imphal, July 27 2013 : A two-day farmers' cadre camp organized by Manipur Loumi Lup was inaugurated at Manipur Press Club here today.

The inaugural function was attended by Head, Department of Animal Husbandry, CAU Imphal Prof M Dhaneshore as Chief Guest and President of Manipur Loumi Lup N Mangi as President.

Speaking on the occasion, Prof Dhaneshore said that farmers should go for organic farming by cutting down excessive use of harmful chemical fertilizers.

They must also work to increase agricultural productivity of the State, he noted.
