Imphal, July 25 2013: 40 Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ 9 Sector AR and HQ IGAR(S) organised a medical camp at Keithalambi, Dist Imphal West today.

The camp was conducted by the Medical Officer along with the nursing staff of 40 AR.

Around 190 patients including ladies, children and elders were treated/ diagnosed during the camp wherein the majority was aged people and children.

In another endeavour, 41 Assam Rifles of HQ 10 Sector Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR(S) distributed stationery to the students of Shakpao Primary School (Ukhrul district) for encouraging and promoting the young children to look forward to their studies which will in turn help them in becoming responsible and educated citizens of the society, according to a statement issued by PRO IGAR (S) .
