Teacher's day celebrated with tree plantation programme

Imphal, October 24 2019: Celebrating teacher's day, teachers and students of Pharmacy Department of Government Polytechnic Takyel planted tree saplings today.

The tree plantation programme, as part of the teacher's day celebration, was organised with the aim to mitigate climate change and promote afforestation, said teachers.

Students presented simple gifts of appreciation to the teachers and staff of the department.
