Imphal, October 22 2012: World women's boxing champion Laishram Sarita has expressed disappointment over the remarks of MC Mary Kom wherein her name was dragged in a controversial manner during a press conference at Aizawl yesterday.

Speaking to media persons at Manipur Press Club today, L Sarita pointed out that in the Olympic qualifying matches, Mary played in 51 kg category while she played in the 60 kg category.

The selection procedure was also not done in the state.

So there should be nothing confusing in this regard.

"I have a long way to go in the field of boxing and it is really disheartening to hear such comments from Mary Kom," Sarita added.
