Ukhrul, March 21 2018: NCD/NPCDCS Ukhrul under the aegis of Ukhrul District Health Society observed the World Kidney Day at district hospital conference hall, Hungpung Ukhrul district.

Ahead of the observation programme, screening and Kidney function test was carried out for more than 30 patients.

During the observation programme, DIO, Ukhrul Dr Kapangring dwelt on common cause of diseases like BP, Diabetes, obesity etc.

He also expressed on the important function of kidney in the body while adding that chronic kidney disease is still not curable.
