Imphal, December 19 2021: District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Chandel organised a one-day legal awareness programme on the topic of 'Laws of Child Adoption and Elimination of Illegal Adoption' at Liwa Khullen community hall on Sunday.

During the programme, advocate Kh Jackie Lucy Lamkang spoke on the different types of child adoption and criteria required of couples opting for adoption, as resource person.

The programme was also attended by members of Manipur Catholic Women Organisation, PLVs, local clubs, Catholic youth organisations, ASHA and Anganwadi workers.
