Imphal, November 16, 2012: Performance of all North Eastern States regarding utilisation of plan amounts would be reviewed in a two-day meeting at Guwahati on November 29 and 30. An official source informed that the review meeting would be presided by Planning Commission's North East in-charge VK Chaturvedi.

On the other hand, Chief Secretary DS Poonia has convened a preparatory meeting ahead of the review meeting on November 20. Incidentally, the Government is at present enduring financial difficulties.

Nevertheless, a sum of Rs 168 crores has been released for six different project being executed in the State under Special Plan Assistance.

The projects include Capital Project, JNIMS, Tribal Areas Inclusive Growth Project, Imphal Sewerage Project and APDRP (Imphal).
