Imphal, July 14 2015 : Implement a proper inner line permit system in Manipur to safeguard the indigenous people of Manipur was a loud call from the energetic protestors who have taken out to streets at various places of Yairipok on Tuesday.

A senior reporter from Hueiyen Lanpao roamed the streets of Yairipok to take into account the protest wave taking place in the area.

It was witnessed that the roads from Yairipok market to Wangkhem were blocked by placing boulders and timber.

All the shops in Yairipok market remain shut down.

Effigies of Chief Minister and Home Minister were found to be hung at various places.

Some protestors marching towards Yairipok market were also stopped by police personnel.

People stopped passerby coming towards Yairipok bridge.
