Imphal, October 12 2015: The new bar body called Imphal West district Bar Association, Manipur (IWDBA) was formed on October 2 at the Family Court Manipur Complex, Lamphel.

Advocate M Jagajit Singh was elected as president while advocates Th Ashokumar Singh and L Rebeda Devi as vice presidents and advocate Th Shashikanta Singh as general secretary.

five members were also elected.

The association was formed with an aim to bring welfare for the interest of advocates residing in Imphal West and to safeguard their interest.
