Imphal, November 10 2014: The Moirang Turelban Leikai Development Association today lauded the heroic feat of Kumam Jaslin, D/O Kumam Bobby Singh of Moirang Turenban Leikai, a seven year old girl who had rescued a four year old minor, said a release.

Sources said that the girl saved the life of a minor, Maikom Jiniya; D/O Maikom Joykumar of Moirang Sribon Leikai by courageously bringing up the minor to safety after she was drowned and was on the verge of being carried away by the flowing river.

The incident took place on November 8 at 5 pm, added the release.
