Environment Awareness Campaign begins

Imphal, July 10 2014: A national environment awareness campaign on Bio-diversity conservation organised by the Organization for Mankind under the sponsorship of Directorate of Environment, Govt of Manipur was inaugurated at Achangbigei High & Jr.

High school on Wednesday.

During the inaugural function of the campaign aimed at giving awareness to the masses and school students on the importance of conserving biodiversity, Dr L.Bijen Meetei, Junior Research Officer in the Directorate of Environment and Senjam Kula Singh, Managing Committee member of Achangbigei High School attended as chief guest and president respectively.

Mutom Inaobi Singh, Chairman of Self-environment Campaign committee, Tourangbam Thoiba Singh Head Master of Achanbigei High School and Khundom Ranjit Singh, Head Master of Achanbigei Jr.

High School also took part in the function.
