Imphal, October 08 2017: Mother of titular king Leishemba Sanajaoba, Maharani Tampha Leima passed away at her Sana Konung residence today due to an illness.

She was 65 years old .

According to her family members, Maharani Tampha Leima, wife of (L) Maharaj Okendrajit (Pareihanba) was admitted to Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) on September 30, where she was undergoing treatment .

She passed away at around 11.45 am.

The family members performed the last rites at Kangla as per the customs.
