Assault slur cast on Thoubal commandos

Moreh, January 08 2014: The Kuki Students' Organisation (KSO) Moreh Block has vehemently condemned the alleged loot and torture of one Tongminthang Baite S/o Ngamsei Baite of Moreh Ward No 1 by the Thoubal police commandos posted at Pallel on Jan 2.Saying that such unwanted acts have been perpetrated on innocent passengers by the custodians of law often, a statement issued by the KSO Moreh Block questioned the motive of deploying commandos.

The KSO demanded the authority concerned to deliver fitting punishment against the guilty police commandos involved in the loot and torture while also demanding clarification from the concerned authority within five days.

It further warned of launching agitation if the demands are not fulfilled immediately.
