Imphal, October 07 2015: The annual blood donation camp of CRPF, Manipur region was organised at the Composite Hospital, CRPF, Imphal today in collaboration with Indian Red Cross Society, Manipur State Branch and JNIMS, Imphal where about 116 blood donors from the CRPF units deployed in Manipur took part.

According to a statement, the blood donation camp was inaugurated by Vikram Sahgal, DIGP, Group Centre, CRPF, Langjing who was also the chief guest of the function.

Vijay Kumar, DIGP, CRPF, Manipur and Nagaland Sector was the guest of honour.

Dr RB Das, DIGP (Medical) and Superintendent of the Composite Hospital, CRPF, Imphal delivered the welcome address.

The programme was also attended by Dr Y Meghachandra Singh, VC, IRCS, Manipur State Branch, Dr Y Mohen, GS, IRCS, Manipur State Branch, Dr K Surjit Singh, Blood Bank Officer, JNIMS, Imphal, Dr Bankim, PC, IRCS, Manipur State Branch.
