Imphal, January 04 2014 : The cease-work strike called by the Employees' Union of Imphal Municipal Council (IMC) demanding the implementation of 6th Pay Commission has completed 11 days today.

The strike has greatly affected the cleaning of garbage in Imphal City.

The workers are staging sit-ins everyday demanding the 6th pay at par with other employees of the State Government.
