Imphal, January 03 2014 : A 62-year-old man was killed by his own son in a feud at Khoijuman Maning Leikai in Bishnupur district at 4.40 pm today.

The deceased has been identified as Khangjrakpam Sanatomba alias Shamungou while the alleged killer as his 18-year-old son Bobby.

According to sources, Bobby hacked his father with a machete after a quarrel between them.

Shamungou died at the spot while his son absconded from home after the murder.

The dead body has been kept at RIMS Hospital for post-mortem.
